Yuva Parivartan is a NGO for Youth Welfare which caters to creating livelihood for ‘out of school’ youth in India. It operates through a large network of training centers that extends across the country. Over the span of 15 years, the parent centre has now branched out to over 300 centres across 18 states of India, which includes 50 Livelihood Development Centres, more than 200 Partnership Centres, 5 jail Centres and over 2000 mobile rural camp centres. It has slowly transformed itself into a national movement empowering 1,00,000 school dropouts annually. The programs were designed primarily to train candidates in key technical and life skills facilitating financial stability.
Innovation Alchemy spearheaded Yuva Parivartan’s camps model, a shift from running and managing training centers to implementing a series of short training camps in rural catchments. This has led to a 400% growth in the number of students trained every year. The Alchemize methodology is applied to help Yuva Parivartan to create a scalable and sustainable livelihood fulfillment platform which connects rural job seekers with relevant local job opportunities on a consistent basis. The model helped the NGO in scaling up its reach over the last 2 years from 18,000 youth a year to impacting over 1,50,000 youth each year. It also supports in completing transformation cycle for school dropouts, especially amongst unemployed rural youth in India.
