The session brought together accomplished social entrepreneurs and innovation practitioners like Meera Shenoy (NSDA, UNDP), Madan Padaki (Head Held High), Tapan Kumar Das (Youth4Jobs), Ramji Raghavan (Agastya International Foundation), and Vijay Kulkarni (Center for Education Innovation). The focus of the discussion was designing scalable programs, policies, and initiatives to provide effective education, employability, and livelihood opportunities for India’s youth. If you haven’t joined us at an Alchemix before, these are a series of open forum discussions between innovators, entrepreneurs, creative minds, designers, engaged citizens and investors. Its a growing community of Innovation practitioners that comes together every couple of months to debate, discuss, learn and apply. Each session is for around three hours and focuses on a particular aspect/ domain of applied Innovation. Previous speakers include social entrepreneurs, founders and leaders from organisations like Gram Vikas, Fractal, Ashoka, Pratham Books, Swasth, Waterwala, mDhil, YourStory.in and many more.
